Underwriting Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriting Associate to support its underwriting team through data-driven risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Process submissions and capture data in systems of record
• Conduct risk and exposure research for submitted businesses
• Assist in communication between Underwriters, Agency Partners, and the Inside Sales team

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of one year of experience with commercial lines, preferably in workers' compensation
• Experience with web-based research tools is preferred
• Knowledge of web-based and cloud platforms is required
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes in work processes and systems
