Underwriting Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriting Associate to support their underwriting team with data-driven risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Process submissions and capture data in systems of record
• Conduct risk and exposure research and communicate with Underwriters and Agency Partners
• Quickly assess risks using underwriting guidelines and maintain industry knowledge

Required Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of one year of experience with commercial lines preferred
• Experience with web-based research tools is preferred
• Knowledge of web-based and cloud platforms is required
• Ability to adapt to changes in work processes and systems
