Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriting Associate.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize company underwriting criteria to evaluate risks for various lines of business
• Perform independent verification of insured's operations and process change requests on in-force policies
• Participate in Underwriting Training and projects as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or associate degree with a strong score on the Wonderlic test
• Prior experience in Underwriting is a plus, but not required
• Strong investigative skills and ability to utilize the internet as a research tool
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and manage time effectively
• Adaptability to changes in technology, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory conditions
