Job Summary
A company is looking for an Underwriting Risk Audit Consultant I.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct real-time audits of underwriting files to ensure compliance with company standards
- Identify and report inconsistencies in the underwriting process to management
- Document findings and provide recommendations for improvements in underwriting practices
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA degree preferred or applicable work experience
- Minimum 8 years of individual life underwriting experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
- Experience with large case and impaired risk underwriting
- Industry coursework (FALU, CLU, ChFC, LOMA) is a plus
