Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriting Risk Audit Consultant I.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct real-time audits of underwriting files to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Identify and report inconsistencies in the underwriting process to management
  • Document findings and provide recommendations for improvements in underwriting practices
Required Qualifications
  • BS/BA degree preferred or applicable work experience
  • Minimum 8 years of individual life underwriting experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with large case and impaired risk underwriting
  • Industry coursework (FALU, CLU, ChFC, LOMA) is a plus
