Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriting Consultant (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrites complex individual insurance applications and makes final underwriting decisions
• Partners with financial associates and consultants to ensure customer satisfaction and effective risk selection
• Trains and mentors team members, conducts quality audits, and participates in field presentations

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Minimum of 6 years of individual holistic underwriting experience in the insurance industry
• Strong customer and team focus
• Broad understanding of the financial services industry and underwriting practices
• Familiarity with reinsurance and contract law
