Underwriting Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriting Data Engineer to organize and analyze data, build data pipelines, and develop analytical tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and analyze Underwriting and Rebate Administration data sources to support business goals
• Build and maintain data pipelines for cleaning and aggregating disparate data
• Collaborate with teams to develop algorithms and provide analytics for financial modeling and reporting

Required Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or IT
• 1+ year of experience with Python, SQL, and data visualization tools; R experience is a plus
• 1+ year of experience in data analysis, financial analysis, or related fields
• Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem, especially Redshift and RDS
• Experience in building or maintaining ETL processes
