Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Underwriting Help Desk Specialist will serve as the first point of contact for users seeking assistance with underwriting management, policy administration, and rating platforms, while also creating and updating online help documents and contributing to training resources.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for underwriting management and policy administration systems, addressing user inquiries and troubleshooting issues
  • Create and update online help documentation and assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for assigned systems and features
  • Develop and maintain training materials and resources based on common issues identified through Help Desk inquiries
Required qualifications
  • Associate degree in insurance, business administration, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Three years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, service desk, underwriting, rating, or related fields preferred
  • Strong business knowledge of underwriting and rating systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools
  • Knowledge of technical concepts such as client-server and web applications preferred
