Underwriting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriting & Product Line Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Support product development by drafting coverage forms and assisting with the filing process
• Analyze risk, perform risk control, and train new underwriters while managing underwriting processes
• Ensure operational efficiency by mastering compliance procedures and building relationships with clients and agents

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• More than 10 years of underwriting experience and over 5 years of home office or legal experience preferred
• One or more years of claims handling/management experience
• Strong background in SQL, Excel, or database management; R or SAS/Stata preferred
• Ability to make independent decisions and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
