Job Summary
Partnering with underwriting leadership to enhance operational effectiveness, the full-time remote Underwriting Operations Analyst will focus on process optimization, technology implementation, and data analysis while collaborating cross-functionally to streamline underwriting workflows.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify and implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency and quality within underwriting processes
- Analyze workflows to pinpoint bottlenecks and opportunities for automation, coordinating technology enhancements and process improvements
- Serve as the operational liaison among various departments, supporting vendor implementations and facilitating User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, Operations, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 3+ years of Property & Casualty insurance experience, preferably in Underwriting or Underwriting Operations
- Demonstrated experience in improving business processes or supporting operational initiatives
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and use of PivotTables
- Experience preparing reports and presenting findings to business leaders
