Underwriting Operations Manager

Job Summary

Managing operational activities for Home Equity underwriting teams, the full-time remote Underwriting Operations Manager will ensure quality service and effective support for internal and external customers while overseeing staff and compliance with corporate policies and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the operational activities of Home Equity underwriting teams
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations
• Review and recommend operational systems and procedures, coordinating system conversions from an operations perspective

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Typically eight to ten years of relevant experience
• Considerable knowledge of Mortgage Operations functions and systems
• In-depth understanding of applicable laws and regulations
• Strong managerial and leadership skills
