Underwriting Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accelerated Underwriting Representative-2.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate life insurance applications for completeness and approval, and gather necessary information
• Communicate with Financial Representatives to expedite the underwriting process and resolve issues
• Manage case documentation and assist in training and mentoring team members

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of three years experience in a professional environment with exposure to computerized systems
• Demonstrated ability to act independently and problem solve
• Knowledge of the insurance industry is desirable
• Successful completion of any required testing
