Underwriting Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accelerated Underwriting Representative to evaluate life insurance applications and manage related documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage case ownership and complete non-risk assessment duties prior to underwriter assignment
• Expedite requests for additional information and verify HIPAA authorizations
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining accurate case documentation

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of three years of experience in a professional environment with exposure to computerized systems
• Proven ability to act independently and solve problems
• Knowledge of the insurance industry is desirable
• Successful completion of any required testing
