Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriting Specialist to assess the creditworthiness and risk profiles of potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough analysis of merchant applications and verify business legitimacy
• Interact with merchants to gather information and provide guidance throughout the application process
• Collaborate with internal teams to refine risk models and support risk investigations

Required Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in KYC/KYB, compliance, onboarding, or underwriting in payments or fintech
• Knowledge of identity verification protocols and AML/BSA regulatory frameworks
• Experience reviewing business models and validating entity legitimacy
• Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of regulatory adherence
• Comfortable communicating with clients to collect sensitive documentation
