Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriting Specialist to assess the creditworthiness and risk profiles of potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough analysis of merchant applications, including financial statements and KYC documentation
• Interact with merchants to gather information and provide guidance on application processes
• Collaborate with Compliance and Risk Analysts to support risk investigations and refine underwriting criteria

Required Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in KYC/KYB, compliance, onboarding, or underwriting within a payments or financial services organization
• Knowledge of identity verification protocols and AML/BSA regulatory frameworks
• Experience in reviewing business models and validating entity legitimacy
• Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of regulatory adherence
• Comfortable communicating with clients to validate sensitive documentation
