Underwriting Support Specialist

Job Summary

Collaborating with clients and internal teams, the full-time Underwriting Support Specialist will manage quality control audits, monitor the loss mitigation pipeline, and ensure timely communication with stakeholders in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Attend and participate in all team meetings
• Perform monthly quality control audits on staff members
• Monitor the loss mitigation pipeline and address foreclosure sale dates

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 3 years of experience in Collections, Loss Mitigation, or related mortgage banking fields
• Proficiency in all Loss Mitigation workout types and agency guidelines (FHA, VA, FNMA, FHLMC)
• Experience with LPS/MSP systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
