Underwriting Team Lead

Job Summary

To enhance client outcomes, the full-time salaried Underwriting Team Lead will manage quality control audits, monitor loss mitigation pipelines, and oversee team training in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct monthly quality control audits for staff and participate in team meetings
• Monitor the loss mitigation pipeline to identify gaps and ensure timely addressing of foreclosure sale dates
• Train new hires and provide ongoing support while managing written and verbal correspondence with various stakeholders

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 3 years of experience in Collections, Loss Mitigation, or related mortgage banking fields
• Proficiency in Loss Mitigation workout types and agency guidelines (FHA, VA, FNMA, FHLMC)
• Experience with MS Office Suite and LPS/MSP software
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
