Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriting Technician.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare new business submissions for underwriters to review and quote
Collect, organize, and audit new business and renewal submissions for compliance
Manage the RFP workflow by compiling information needed for underwriting quotes

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or Associate degree with relevant experience preferred
2 or more years of group health insurance industry experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Excel
Demonstrated customer service experience
Ability to learn and understand Underwriting processes
