Underwriting Technician

Job Summary

Underwriting Technician provides full-time remote support to the underwriting team, handling the processing of quotes, endorsements, and renewals while ensuring adherence to company underwriting criteria.

Key Responsibilities

• Process low complexity quotes, endorsements, inspections, and renewals accurately and timely
• Evaluate basic risk characteristics and make sound underwriting decisions within assigned authority
• Assist underwriters and maintain strong agency relationships through effective communication

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of work experience, including some in insurance
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of policy processing procedures and documentation
• Basic understanding of applicable insurance products
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
