Underwriting Training Specialist

Job Summary

Seeking a remote, full-time Underwriting Training and Development Specialist, this role is responsible for implementing and coordinating internal training programs for the Professional Liability product, fostering a culture of learning and accountability within the Underwriting Excellence team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update curriculum and training materials for Ledgebrook University to enhance underwriting skills and compliance knowledge
• Coordinate and facilitate virtual onboarding and training sessions, ensuring high participation and adherence to internal guidelines
• Collaborate with the Underwriting Excellence team to assess training needs and deliver effective training solutions

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a Professional Liability Underwriter or Subject Matter Expert in relevant fields
• Ability to design instructional materials, including onboarding resources and standard operating procedures
• Strong project management skills to manage multiple training initiatives effectively
• Proficiency in diverse learning technologies, such as LMS and e-learning platforms
• Excellent interpersonal skills to engage trainees and collaborate with subject matter experts
