Job Summary

A company is looking for an Unemployment Specialist to analyze and adjudicate unemployment claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and process complex unemployment claims, managing them through to resolution
• Represent the company at administrative unemployment compensation hearings as needed
• Monitor benefits due and prepare necessary state filings within statutory limits

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
• Three years of claims management experience or equivalent education and experience required
• Licenses as required, with professional certification preferred
• In-depth knowledge of insurance principles and laws related to unemployment claims
• Experience with cost containment techniques and strategic vendor partnerships
