Unified Communications Network Engineer

Job Summary

Serving as the primary Tier III escalation point for complex Unified Communications and network-related incidents, the full-time Unified Communications Network Engineer will resolve high-impact issues, mentor Tier II engineers, and provide best-practice guidance in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced incidents related to Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, and enterprise networking
• Provide technical mentorship to Tier II engineers and contribute to knowledge base documentation
• Own high-priority incidents through full lifecycle technical resolution, ensuring adherence to best practices

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of Unified Communications and Network Engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams Phone System and Cisco Webex platforms
• Strong knowledge of routing and switching, as well as multi-vendor firewall platforms
• Experience with NAC solutions such as Cisco ISE and FortiNAC
• Familiarity with Azure and AWS networking fundamentals
