Union Data Center Technician

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Union Data Center Technician, this role involves the installation and decommissioning of network and cabling infrastructure in a Data Center environment, while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards both onsite and remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Install and decommission network and cabling infrastructure while maintaining Data Center cleanliness
• Provide structured feedback on project progress and collaborate with stakeholders to remove project obstacles
• Exhibit quality workmanship and follow all production, safety, and industry best practices

Required qualifications

• Knowledge of basic telecom hand tools and customer service principles
• Familiarity with wiring schemes, wiring tests, and job safety requirements
• Experience in performing copper field terminations and low voltage cable installation
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and building documentation
• Understanding of fiber types and installation/testing of network equipment
