University Advisor

Job Summary

Providing university advising services remotely, the contract University Advisor will guide international students and their families through the university application process, focusing on entry to U.S. and other English-speaking institutions of higher education.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned student advising cases and support students in their university counseling journey
• Conduct outreach to students and families through various communication methods to promote the university advising program
• Participate in trainings and team meetings to stay updated on admissions trends and university requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, school counseling, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience in college admissions counseling or international student recruitment
• Solid understanding of university admissions processes in the U.S., Canada, UK, and/or Australia
• Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office Suite and common CRM and SIS platforms
• Bi- or multilingual proficiency, with Turkish as a plus
