Job Summary
Supporting critical systems and cloud migration initiatives, the remote Unix Linux Engineer will manage incident response, lead migration projects, and develop automation scripts for large-scale enterprise infrastructure modernization.
Key responsibilities
- Support and transform Unix and Linux platforms for enterprise infrastructure
- Manage incident response, root cause analysis, and service restoration for mission-critical systems
- Lead migration projects, including RHEL upgrades and cloud adoption strategies
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience in Linux/Unix system administration and engineering
- Proven expertise managing large-scale enterprise environments (10K+ servers)
- Strong incident management skills, including root cause analysis and troubleshooting
- Experience with Linux distributions (Red Hat, SUSE, Ubuntu) and Unix systems (AIX, HP-UX, Solaris)
- Preferred certifications include RHCSA, RHCE, VMware Certified Professional, or Security+
