Job Summary

Providing strategic leadership and operational oversight, the full-time salaried U.S. Customs Compliance Director will manage the customs compliance program across the Americas, ensuring adherence to regulations while supporting business objectives through risk management and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities
  • Enhance and govern the global customs compliance program, aligning with corporate policies and regulatory requirements
  • Provide authoritative guidance on customs classification, valuation, and compliance, ensuring accurate filings and documentation
  • Oversee broker performance and manage customs audits, government inquiries, and compliance assessments
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in international business, supply chain, law, or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in customs and trade compliance with leadership experience in regional or global programs
  • Demonstrated expertise in U.S. and international customs laws, including FTAs and tariff programs
  • Experience managing customs audits and government inquiries, along with strong broker relationship management
  • Ability to travel approximately 15% to company locations across North America and internationally
