US Customs Specialist

Job Summary

To drive continuous improvement in a global environment, the remote US Customs Specialist will manage compliance with federal DOT and international trade regulations, oversee export-import documentation, and advise internal stakeholders on trade controls.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international transportation, ensuring on-time delivery and safe material handling
• Maintain compliance with federal DOT, international trade, and Customs regulations across U.S. business divisions
• Supervise and audit export-import documentation to ensure SOX compliance and advise on regulatory changes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 7-10 years of import-export/customs experience
• Experience with logistics and operations
• Familiarity with SAP
• Experienced in advising and training on trade controls
