US Data Privacy Manager

Job Summary

Serving as the USA regional expert, the full-time remote US Data Privacy Manager will manage compliance with US privacy and AI laws, provide guidance to internal teams, and lead privacy initiatives while fostering a culture of responsible data stewardship across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor on US privacy and AI laws, providing guidance and negotiating data protection positions with customers
• Lead and deliver end-to-end privacy and AI compliance initiatives, including assessments and risk identification
• Partner with various teams to embed Privacy and AI by Design into products and services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

Required qualifications

• Strong understanding of legal contracts and regulatory requirements related to data protection
• Experience in a complex organization, preferably within the same industry or similar
• Knowledge of state privacy obligations, biometric laws, GLBA, FCRA, and their application
• Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Demonstrable quick learning ability to understand complex data protection requirements and technical solutions
