U.S. Derivatives Trading Technology Lead

Job Summary

Leading the design and delivery of the technology stack for a regulated U.S. derivatives market, the full-time Head of U.S. Derivatives Trading Technology will manage vendor selection, architecture decisions, and team recruitment while ensuring operational excellence and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Design the end-to-end U.S. derivatives trading architecture and lead vendor selection for clearing FCM, OMS, and market-access providers
• Define and implement pre-trade risk management, incident response, and disaster recovery protocols
• Recruit and lead the U.S. trading-technology team, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory requirements

Required qualifications

• 10-15+ years of experience in electronic trading or capital-markets technology
• Deep knowledge of listed derivatives and U.S. futures market structure
• Prior experience working at a Futures Commission Merchant (FCM)
• Strong understanding of the complete execution, clearing, and settlement lifecycle
• Proven track record of delivering mission-critical trading platforms
