US Healthcare Coding Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Coding.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and guide the medical coding team, setting goals and conducting performance evaluations
• Oversee the medical coding process to ensure accuracy and compliance with coding guidelines
• Provide ongoing training and development for coding staff and collaborate with other departments

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's degree preferred
• Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification required
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in medical coding, including 3 years in a supervisory role
• In-depth knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems
• Experience with revenue cycle management processes and healthcare reimbursement methodologies
