US Healthcare Data Science Lead

Job Summary

Leading the strategic expansion of the US Health AI roadmap, the full-time remote US Healthcare Data Science Lead will guide and scale a high-performing team of Data Scientists and Engineers, focusing on advancing AI capabilities for healthcare payment integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the technical and strategic roadmap for the US Health payment integrity division, transitioning to autonomous AI agents
• Champion the design and deployment of robust data pipelines optimized for large language models (LLMs) and advanced agentic frameworks
• Establish and oversee evaluation frameworks to ensure unbiased, legally sound, and explainable AI decisions

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of Data Science experience with a proven track record of leading teams of 7+ members in healthcare insurance payment integrity
• Hands-on experience designing and scaling production-level large language models (LLMs) and autonomous multi-modal agent workflows
• Strong background in object-oriented programming (OOP) and a deep understanding of the full machine learning lifecycle
• Deep familiarity with managing enterprise AI environments utilizing tools like Databricks and MLflow
• Demonstrated ability to co-create products alongside clients and manage complex stakeholder expectations
