U.S. Licensed Director of Privacy

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Privacy & Security, Legal.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global legal strategy for privacy and data security
• Provide expert guidance on privacy, security, and compliance matters across the organization
• Lead the legal side of incident management and response for security events

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of legal experience, with at least 5 years in privacy and data security within SaaS or Cybersecurity
• Significant experience negotiating privacy and security components of commercial contracts
• Experience managing a team and guiding cross-functional initiatives
• J.D. from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law in the U.S
• Deep understanding of global privacy laws and regulations such as GDPR and CCPA/CPRA
