US Licensed Global Safety Officer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Global Safety Officer (GSO), Global Safety Medical Director - Obesity, US - Remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Validate safety signals and lead safety signal assessments
• Develop and maintain Core Safety Information and prepare/review risk management plans
• Provide safety input to clinical protocols and regulatory filings

Required Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited medical or surgical residency or clinical experience in an academic or private practice setting
• Industry pharmacovigilance experience preferred
• Expertise in the Obesity therapeutic area
• Previous management and/or mentoring experience preferred
