US Licensed Global Trade Compliance Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Global Trade Compliance to enhance its global trade and compliance platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customs and trade organizations to document requirements and automate processes across a global network
• Build communications and training plans for internal and external partners regarding trade compliance governance
• Manage global import/export regulatory changes and provide technical assistance for compliance issues

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of direct experience with customs and trade compliance and a strong understanding of global customs regulations
• 8+ years of experience in handling imports and/or exports in accordance with foreign government regulations
• 3+ years of experience leveraging technology for process improvements
• Fluency with visualization tools such as PowerBI
• Experience managing global 3PL and understanding supply chain logistics operations
