U.S. Licensed Head of Legal

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Head of Legal to lead its global legal strategy and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all legal matters including corporate, regulatory, commercial, and transactional work
• Partner with Capital Markets and Finance teams to structure and negotiate debt facilities and transactions
• Develop and implement internal processes for managing contracts, compliance, and legal risk

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of legal experience, with a mix of top-tier law firm and in-house fintech or financial services experience
• Significant experience structuring and negotiating credit facilities and/or structured finance transactions
• Familiarity with fintech regulation, including lending, securities, and payments
• JD from a top law school and license to practice in the United States
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
