Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patent Agent - Biotechnology.

Key Responsibilities

• Review invention disclosure records to identify patentable subject matter
• Draft, file, and prosecute patent applications worldwide
• Assist patent attorneys with freedom-to-operate opinions and adversarial proceedings

Required Qualifications

• Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
• Four plus (4+) years of experience in intellectual property law focused on biopharma and life sciences
• 10 or more years of biotech patent preparation and prosecution experience (preferred)
• Advanced degree such as a Master's or Ph.D. in relevant scientific fields (preferred)
• Strong client service focus and ability to manage multifaceted projects in a fast-paced environment
