U.S. Licensed Privacy Attorney

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Privacy Attorney to serve as the legal lead resource on data protection and privacy matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the legal lead on data protection and privacy laws in the U.S., Canada, and globally
• Negotiate data protection terms for client and supplier agreements
• Provide leadership and guidance to local Country Privacy Officers on new data protection law implementations

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in privacy counseling
• Active bar admission in any U.S. state
• Experience with privacy laws such as CCPA, HIPAA, GLBA, PIPEDA, and GDPR
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external counsel
• Experience in leading privacy projects and initiatives
