US Licensed Product Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Deputy General Counsel, Product.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise the Product team on US product offerings throughout the product lifecycle
• Identify legal and regulatory risks for new products and services, advising on product structure and design
• Develop and manage disclosures for new products, including terms and conditions and customer agreements

Required Qualifications

• Law degree from a top law school
• Admission to practice law in any state in the US
• 10+ years of experience in product counseling and financial services regulatory matters
• Experience engaging with US regulators, including CFTC and SEC
• In-house experience at fintech or digital asset/crypto companies is a plus
