U.S. Licensed Product Counsel

Job Summary

Owning day-to-day product and regulatory counseling for key parts of a U.S.-focused payouts platform, the full-time U.S. Licensed Product Counsel will partner with various teams to provide guidance, shape product development, negotiate customer agreements, and create operational efficiencies, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide product and regulatory counseling throughout the product lifecycle, collaborating with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Operations
• Translate U.S. payments and consumer-protection regulations into actionable product guidelines and internal policies
• Negotiate and draft customer agreements, ensuring efficient contracting processes as the company scales

Required qualifications

• 4-6 years of legal experience, including in-house experience at a tech or fintech company
• Strong foundation in U.S. financial regulatory issues related to payments and money movement
• Proficient drafting and negotiation skills, capable of managing multiple agreements efficiently
• Clear written communication skills and ability to build cross-functional trust in a remote setting
• J.D. and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
