US Payroll Manager

Job Summary

To support a complex client environment, the remote US Payroll Manager will manage payroll delivery, ensuring accuracy and compliance while establishing strong client relationships and adapting to evolving operational needs.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee the accurate and timely delivery of US payroll services, collaborating with stakeholders and vendors
• Maintain payroll data integrity and investigate discrepancies between systems and payroll outputs
• Support system testing, process improvements, and implementation activities as needed

Required qualifications:

• Significant experience managing end-to-end US payroll operations in a multi-client or fast-changing environment
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll taxation and compliance requirements
• Practical experience managing multi-state payrolls and associated reporting obligations
• Experience with recognized US payroll platforms and integrated HR and payroll data
• Familiarity with payroll accounting, reconciliations, and financial controls
