USA Licensed Consultant Lawyer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Consultant Lawyer on a contract basis to manage investment-related contract negotiations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the negotiation of investment-related NDAs, engagement letters, and non-reliance letters
• Manage the entire contract process from initial review to document execution
• Collaborate with team members and counterparties to ensure rapid turnaround times on pre-M&A contracts

Required Qualifications

• Licensed to practice Law in the USA or Canada
• 2+ years of corporate/transactional law experience, in-house or private practice
• Experience in independently negotiating investment-related NDAs
• Familiarity with asset managers, investment banks, or financial services firms is preferable
• Consultants must be based in North America due to time zone considerations
