USDA Food Safety Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Manager, USDA Food Safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide organizational leadership and regulatory affairs support for USDA-regulated manufacturing sites
• Lead training for factories and cross-functional teams on regulatory issues
• Manage relationships with regulatory agencies and support various USDA programs

Required Qualifications

• Master of Science degree preferred, focused on Food Safety or Food Microbiology
• 7+ years of experience in food safety and/or regulatory affairs
• Significant understanding of quality systems/processes (ISO, Six Sigma, etc.)
• Ability to lead teams and manage conflict effectively
• Willingness to travel up to 15% a year
