USDA Organic Technical Evaluator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Technical Evaluator to join their Organic Certifiers team.

Key Responsibilities

• Review applications, organic system plans, and supporting documentation for compliance
• Analyze materials to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and communicate findings to clients
• Conduct desk audits, issue findings, and provide technical support while contributing to process improvements

Required Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in certification, regulatory compliance, or a related field
• Solid understanding of USDA organic standards and certification processes
• Ability to independently manage complex files and priorities
• Knowledge of organic production or handling practices, supported by relevant education or experience
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
