USDA Underwriter with DE Certification

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter - USDA.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently underwrite USDA products while ensuring compliance and risk assessment
• Review and analyze credit, income, assets, and collateral documentation to determine loan eligibility
• Communicate and document reasons for approval or rejection of loans to clients and loan officers

Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years of mortgage underwriting or mortgage lending experience required
• Active DE/CHUMS and LAPP/SAR certification required
• 2+ years' experience with manual underwrites
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred
• Understanding of compliance standards, including federal regulations and company policies
