User Experience Designer

Job Summary

Supporting user experience and interaction design for the Investigation Management System Improvements effort, the contract User Experience/Interaction Designer will conduct user-centered discovery, create design artifacts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct user-centered discovery to understand workflow needs, pain points, and usability challenges
• Create wireframes, mockups, user flows, journey maps, and interaction design concepts
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and engineers to align design solutions with requirements

Required qualifications:

• Experience in UX, interaction design, service design, or similar roles supporting digital products or enterprise systems
• Demonstrated experience creating wireframes, prototypes, flows, and related design artifacts
• Strong understanding of usability, user-centered design methods, and interaction design principles
• Ability to translate business needs and user feedback into actionable design solutions
• Must meet the applicable TDDC MSA labor category education and experience requirements
