User Experience Designer

Job Summary

To enhance the usability of the Databricks platform's governance and AI capabilities, the remote User Experience Designer will design user-friendly and scalable experiences, translating complex functionalities into intuitive user journeys, wireframes, and specifications while collaborating closely with stakeholders and engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design user-friendly experiences for governance portals, quality scorecards, and self-service AI/BI tools
• Translate prototype AI use cases into design artifacts such as user journeys, wireframes, and interactive prototypes
• Partner with stakeholders and engineers to validate designs, ensuring feasibility and alignment with technical constraints

Required qualifications

• 5+ years in UX/product design with a portfolio showcasing enterprise or analytics product experiences
• Proven ability to simplify complex technical domains for business users
• Strong command of UX methods including user research, journey mapping, and usability testing
• Experience producing developer-ready design specifications and collaborating with engineering teams
• Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma for creating flows, wireframes, and prototypes
