User Experience Designer
Job Summary
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the remote Junior User Experience Designer will assist in designing and improving products and services for internal and external clients, while gaining valuable experience in interaction design and usability testing.
Key responsibilities
- Create wireflows, UI components, and annotated design handoffs for development
- Participate in design reviews and usability testing, contributing to the design system
- Partner with senior designers and product managers to address user problems using insights and analytics
Required qualifications
- Post-secondary education in User Experience and/or Human Computer Interaction (HCI)
- 2-4 years of experience in user interface design, product design, or related fields
- A portfolio showcasing the UX design process, including wireflows and UI components
- Understanding of user-centered design principles and agile development
- Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with design systems and component libraries
