User Experience Researcher

Job Summary

Passionate about player insights, the full-time remote User Experience (UX) Researcher will own the player research program, conducting studies and analyzing player interactions to inform game development and enhance player experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the player research and playtesting program, including planning, recruiting participants, and reporting findings
• Design and execute various research studies, including usability tests, interviews, and surveys to gather player feedback
• Translate player observations into actionable insights and communicate findings to cross-functional teams to support product decisions

Required qualifications

• Experience conducting UX research, usability testing, or player research in mobile or free-to-play games
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple research initiatives simultaneously
• Exceptional observational and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize research into actionable insights
• Background in psychology, human-computer interaction (HCI), or related fields
• Familiarity with research platforms and analytics tools such as PlaytestCloud, Tableau, or similar
