User Interface Engineer

Job Summary

Building and testing responsive web interfaces for TrekBikes.com, the full-time User Interface Engineer will translate Figma designs into frontend components using Vue and TypeScript while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, build, and test interfaces for web-based applications to enhance user experience
• Implement WCAG accessibility standards and web performance best practices in frontend development
• Contribute components to the internal design system and provide feedback during code reviews

Required qualifications

• 2-5 years of relevant professional experience in frontend development
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, coding bootcamp certification, or equivalent experience
• Experience with at least one JavaScript framework, preferably Vue, and proficiency in TypeScript
• Familiarity with AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar
• Experience using Git for version control and writing technical documentation
