Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the full-time or part-time Software and Medical Device Patent Agent will manage patent portfolio development, application drafting, and prosecution strategies while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with patent strategy, portfolio management, and execution of patent prosecution activities
• Participate in elective growth initiatives such as networking, business development, and content creation
• Draft and review utility and design patent applications, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet client expectations

Required qualifications

• Registered USPTO Patent Agent with a background in medical devices and software
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a patent agent, demonstrating technical proficiency
• Experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, or related technical disciplines
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a patent docket effectively
• Excellent written communication skills, with a focus on detail and accuracy
