Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the part-time or full-time Software and Medical Device Patent Agent will manage patent portfolio development, application drafting, and prosecution strategies while working remotely with a flexible schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with patent strategy, portfolio management, and application drafting
• Guide and execute patent prosecution, including docket and IDS management
• Participate in elective growth initiatives such as networking and content development

Required qualifications

• Registered USPTO Patent Agent with a background in medical devices and software
• 4+ years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution
• Ability to analyze complex technical documents and scientific papers
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proven ability to collaborate with diverse teams and manage projects autonomously
